Halloween Orange Sherbet Punch - Ruchiskitchen

Are you looking for a delicious and creamy non-alcoholic drink for your upcoming Halloween party? Then whip up a big pitcher or bowl of this colorful, sweet and bubbly 3-ingredient Halloween Orange Sherbet Punch that will surely impress many of your guests! Both kids and adults will love this Sherbet punch.

    Halloween Spooky Drink

If you are hosting a Halloween party this year, then this Punch is the perfect drink for you. Super easy to make and comes together to less than 30 minutes. Now, what’s not to love!!

But my first hands experience with this drink was very scary. A few years back, one of my close friends made this drink with ‘fake’ spiders in it. It was really ‘spooky.” I couldn’t even look at that glass, drinking that stuff -😱😱 can’t even imagine.

Like many, I have a phobia of certain creepy crawlers, especially spiders. If there is a house on the block with spiders hanging, I would make a U-turn and past by it. They actually scare me.

Coming back to the topic, she insisted that I should taste it. Seeing my reluctance, she made me try that punch in plain glass, and I just loved the contrasting flavors.

Thereon, I have tried so many different varieties of this punch at birthday parties, picnics, potluck, and family get-togethers and it’s always a hit!

    Drinks for Halloween

This perfectly sweet drink has notes of fresh orange juice, orange soda, and sherbet. An ultimate party drink that tastes so much like a dessert.

Why does this Halloween Orange Sherbet Punch taste like a dessert?

All because of Sherbet. Sherbet adds a creamy texture to this fizzy drink and is downright delicious, fruity, and refreshing. Altogether a must-make and you will love everything about this punch because it’s –

    • fast and easy
    • can be made in less than 15 minutes
    • requires a handful of ingredients
    • and is packed with citrus flavor.

    Amazing…. isn’t it!

How to make a delicious Halloween Orange Sherbet Punch?

You will only need a few ingredients to make this punch. Assemble everything before you begin. Right before your guests start arriving:

    1. Combine all the ingredients “from orange sherbet to crushed ice” in a bowl.

    2. Stir well until mixed.

    3. Pour in Halloween glasses and serve immediately. Just make sure to use crushed ice for this punch. The ice and ice cream will keep the punch chilled.

    4. Frozen punch tastes so much better, and you can taste the citrus flavor in every sip.

PROTIP: Once the ice cream will start to melt, the punch will become more sweeter. Therefore, adjust the cold water or ice to control the sweetness in the punch.

To serve: If you’re planning on inviting guests then set up a drink station with all the Halloween goodies, orange wedges, and punch. Allow the guests to decorate their punch glasses with whatever they like. Let their creativity run wild.

How to make a spooky Drink

Planning to feed a large crowd?

Feel free to double up on the ingredients to accommodate a large crowd. If you are making this punch in bulk then I would suggest making a pitcher full of this.

Pour in the orange soda, crushed ice, and orange juice. Stir to combine. Add scoops of sherbet and stir gently. Toss in some candy corn and serve immediately.

This fizzy drink surely packs a PUNCH of flavor and will impress many tastebuds.

    Other Variations!

Like to switch the color and flavor? Then experiment this drink with the options mentioned below:

    • Watermelon
    • Pomegranate
    • Raspberries
    • Blackberries
    • Cranberries
    • Lime
    • Pumpkin, and
    • Cherries

    Spike it up!

The recipe as written is a non-alcoholic drink. But if you like to add a splash of your favorite booze, go ahead and spike it up.

In that case, make a separate picther for the kids and adults and keep the alcohol one away from the kids.

What a fun drink for Halloween, such a great festive color and it’s nice to have a drink for the adults that’s festive but non-alcoholic! Especially when Halloween falls on a school night 🙂

Oh, my, I remember drinking that for Halloween when I was a kid. (Though I think my mom used ginger ale.) We *loved* the way the sherbet foamed and looked so spooky! I love your more orangy version – and I can assure everyone that kids love it!
