Sabudana Khichdi

Light, non-sticky, and savory Sabudana Khichdi or spicy Tapioca Salad is a vegan and gluten-free delicacy that pleases every palate!

Sabudana (Tapioca, Sago pearls) Water Oil Raw Peanuts Large Potato peeled Small Green chilies Curry leaves Salt

Step 1

Soak Sabudana  -  Rinse and soak sabudana for 4-5 hours.  After the resting time is over, drain water.

Step 2

Cook Sabudana - Heat oil in a skillet.  Add peanuts and roast until they are nicely golden.  Add potatoes and sauté on a medium flame until soft.

Step 3

Cook Sabudana - Add soaked sabudana – season with salt.  Cook sabudana for a few minutes until most of the sabudana pearls become translucent.

Step 4

Server Hot - Take it off the heat and serve.
