Who doesn’t love a good smoothie and that to a BOWL FULL OF GOODNESS. ūüôā¬†Whether it’s a quick meal or a thirst quencher, smoothies are loved by all ages. They are super easy to make and creating a healthy smoothie¬†bowl takes only 6-7 minutes of your time.¬†Start your day right with this refreshing and nourishing¬†berry smoothie bowl – a¬†perfect¬†Valentine day or any day breakfast recipe!¬†

No fancy ingredients are required to prepare¬†this smoothie¬†recipe. Assemble fruits of you choice, few toppings¬†and let’s get started! Wash and clean fruits, toss them in a blender and blend until smooth and thick.¬†This¬†recipe taste sweet, creamy and super yummy and the best part is¬†it’s sweetened with fruits – no added sugar! ¬†

This is a smoothie but why in a bowl? Well technically speaking,¬†the consistency of this smoothie¬†is¬†not thin enough to sip through a straw – its¬†more like a thick creamy fruity meal –¬†taste¬†best when eaten with a spoon, yum and D-licious. ūüėČ ūüôā

So, you see a¬†delicious smoothie¬†doesn’t require tons of ingredients, few seasonal fruits, some milk and creative toppings!!

Toppings is the fun part. This is the part where I like to get fancy Рadd chopped/sliced fruits, chia seeds (my favorite), and to add some crunch to my smoothie I sprinkled some rolled oats and sliced almonds. Enjoy a perfect healthy berry smoothie bowl to start your morning right!!

INGREDIENTS
FOR SMOOTHIE
  • 1 cup Fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3/4 cup Fresh or frozen Strawberries
  • 2 small Bananas
  • 1/2 cup Curd (thick Market curd/yogurt)
  • 1 cup Milk
TOPPINGS
  • 2 teaspoon Chia seeds (for each bowl)
  • 2 teaspoon Rolled Oats
  • 2 teaspoon Sliced almonds
  • 3-4 pieces of Raspberries
  • 4-5 pieces of Blueberries
CHANGE SERVING SIZE: BOWL
CHANGE UNITS:
METHOD
  1. Choose fruit of your liking.
  2. Clean and wash fruits.
  3. Add fruits to a mixer..
  4. Add thick curd..
  5. Add milk and blend until thick and creamy.
  6. Top smoothie bowl with chia seeds, sliced almonds, oats and fruits.
  7. Serve immediately.
