Wheat Halwa- Kada Prasad
Gurudwara's Karah Prasad recipe! Wheat Halwa- Kada Prasad is a rich and delicious dessert made with wheat flour, sugar and ghee. Under 30 minute recipe!!
Servings 6 PEOPLE
Assemble all the ingredients.
Add ghee to a heavy bottomed pan. Add wheat flour and keep stirring on a medium flame. Meanwhile, in a separate pan combine sugar and water. Mix and until sugar is completely dissolved in water. Set it aside.
Keep stirring wheat flour until the color changes from pale brown to dark brown - for about 7-9 minutes. Turn the gas dial to low and while stirring mix in the sugar water that we had prepared earlier in the recipe. Add water slowly to avoid any lump formation. Keep stirring.
Stir in Eliachi powder and mix until well blended
At first the halwa will be in a liquid state. Keep stirring and soon it will start to thicken. Take it off the flame.
Garnish with silvered almonds.
