When summer gives you strawberries and mangoes, what to do? You end up combining these two delicious fruits into one nutrient-rich tasty drink- Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Mango Daiquiri!
This healthy drink made with a slushy blend of strawberries and mangoes packs a healthy punch. Loaded with antioxidants and vitamins – the benefits of strawberries and mangoes are endless!
Summer is one of my favorite times of the year, though, because it means strawberry and mangoes are in season. These fruits are blooming all over the place!
Many farms across our state are bursting with the vibrant red color and juicy strawberries that are known for their delightfully sweet and delicious flavor.
I love to pick seasonal fruits, so to take advantage of this year’s bloom, we are headed to a strawberry farm for strawberry picking.
Just a note ~ if you too are headed for strawberry picking, then pick the berries that are darker in tone. The darker the strawberries – the sweeter the juice.
So the question is, after picking, what am I going to do with so many strawberries?
I use the strawberries in everything from flavored water, icecreams, mousse, drinks, and everything in between.
And whatever is left ~ just eat it up. 😊
Were you wondering what about mangoes? You can buy a big box of juicy, ripped mangoes at your local grocery store.
WHAT IS DAIQUIRI?
Frozen daiquiris are cold smoothie-like drink with pureed ice, in which the maker has a lot of versatility.
Traditionally, daiquiris are mixed drinks made with alcohol, mostly rum and vodka, but for this recipe, I have chosen to create it without alcohol, due to its appeal towards the younger age groups and diet restrictions.
Additionally, making a daiquiri without alcohol is much easier and straightforward. Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Mango Daiquiri
I prefer my daiquiris to be more on the fruity side; therefore, I add fruit juice to them. But feel free to add rum, vodka, soda water, or flavored soda of your choice.
What makes up Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Mango Daiquiri?

» Mangoes – another star ingredient that is also a luscious tropical fruit. Its delightful taste seduces anyone who takes even a small bite. Like strawberries, mangoes primarily flourish in the summer season, making them a favorite fruit to use in daiquiris and smoothies.
» Sugar – just a little bit to neutralize the fruit’s bitterness.

Questions you may have to make the best Non-Alcoholic Strawberry Mango Daiquiri
» Always use the best quality fruit. I have used fresh fruit to make my daiquiri, but frozen fruit will work too. In fact, frozen fruit will give your daiquiri a nice icy texture.
» Substitute fruit juice with sparkling water. Any sparkling water – plain or flavored will work.
» If using sparkling water, you’ll want to drink the daiquiri immediately before the sparkling effect goes flat.
» It’s naturally sweet – Now I have not mentioned any sweetener in the recipe, as the ripened fruits were too sweet for me. But it totally depends on you and how sweet you like your daiquiri. You can add a teaspoon or more of honey or sugar to your mango-strawberry daiquiri, up to you.
» Spike it up – This mango strawberry daiquiri recipe, as written, is a non-alcoholic drink. But if you like to add a dose of chilled rum to it, go ahead and spike it up.
