How to Make the BEST Iced Tiramisu Latte

Freeze the coffee cubes —  Before you begin, freeze your coffee into ice cubes. For that, simply pour your freshly brewed coffee into ice cube trays and leave it overnight in the freezer. You will have perfectly shaped iced cubes the next day.

Protip — To get a creamy and smooth iced coffee latte, I recommend using frozen coffee cubes to prevent the Iced Tiramisu Latte from getting watered down.

Combine other Ingredients —  Add coffee cubes to the pitcher of your blender. Pour milk, honey, Kahlua Liqueur, and chocolate syrup over coffee cubes. Blend until well combined.

Protip — This iced Tiramisu latte is crafted to be just sweet enough but feel free to add an extra tablespoon of honey to suit your preferences.

Pour into a tall glass, garnish with fresh mint leaves, and chocolate drizzle, and enjoy!

Expert Tips and Variations

Can substitute ice cubes — You can substitute regular ice cubes with chilled cold brew coffee. This is what you need to do: Brew up a cup of coffee and let it cool completely. Now, chill it in the refrigerator. Just mix it with milk, sweetener, and ice to create your dreamy-creamy Latte.

For a creamier and tastier Latte — Always use whole milk to get the most tasteful latte that froths as desired. Whole milk with high milk fat content froths best. Milk with 2% fat content can be used, but it will not turn the latte rich and creamy as the whole milk would.

For the most luscious and creamiest Latte — It is best to use half-and-half for the most lusciously creamy latte. More the milk fat, creamier the latte!

Swap Tiramisu for Vanilla flavor — If you are not a fan of Tiramisu, no problem! You can easily swap Tiramisu for Vanilla flavor and prepare a simple Iced Vanilla Latte that tastes delicious!

Quick latte anytime — You can prepare coffee ice cubes in advance and store them in the freezer for 2 to 3 weeks. These can be used for a quick whip anytime when you are in a hurry.

Easy conversion to Mocha drink — Cocoa lovers can whip up a quick Iced Tiramisu Mocha drink. Add some cocoa powder to the blender and churn the rest of the ingredients together to make Tiramisu Mocha, a yummy refreshing drink.

For the Paleo variation — This recipe uses honey as the natural sweetener. You can substitute honey for erythritol if preferring a Paleo variation of the recipe.

Swap honey — Instead of using honey as the sweetener, you can also use simple syrup or flavored syrup to sweeten your Latte.

No sugar, please! — This Tiramisu Latte being a cold drink, does not allow the sugar to dissolve completely, resulting in a gritty texture of the latte. Therefore, I suggest you use the liquid syrup that blends very well with the drink.

Flavors and flavors! — You can even try some other unique flavors like peppermint, pumpkin spice, or Cinnamon instead of Tiramisu if you want to.

RECIPE NOTES

Frequently Asked Questions

What other milk can be used for this Iced Tiramisu Latte recipe?
This recipe can be prepared using various combinations. For making it Vegan, use any non-dairy milk, like oat milk, almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, etc., in place of regular milk, and get the luscious recipe ready to be relished!
  • Using Oat Milk- Oat milk renders a great creamy texture and neutral flavor to the Latte.
  • Using Almond Milk- One of my favorites, almond milk is less creamy and is thin in consistency. It is perfect for those watching their calories!
  • Using Soy Milk/ Coconut Milk- Soy milk is a good option but leaves a slight soy aftertaste. The same goes for coconut milk, as coconut flavor is somewhat strong.

What other sweetener can be used for this recipe?
This Iced Tiramisu Latte is sweetened with the natural sweetener, honey. But you can use any other sweetener of your choice. Some other options you may want to try are —
  • Maple Syrup — It is a natural vegan sweetener without the overt flavor of maple, and it’s my favorite too!
  • Agave Syrup — This is another vegan option that works excellent in this recipe for Iced Tiramisu Latte.
  • Any other flavor syrup — You may use any other flavor sweetener like vanilla syrup, which is also a great option.

Can I store the Iced Tiramisu Latte?
Latte tastes best when served fresh. As it is primarily made with milk and ice, it can be stored in the fridge to taste fresh for not more than a day. After that, it may develop an unpleasant smell and/ or taste.
