This Gulkand Strawberry Milkshake is an absolute treat any time of the year. Flavored with rose petals jam, this pretty pink drink is all natural, light, fresh, and subtly sweet!
Holi is just days away, and it’s time for some fun-frolic, colors and Thandai. For those of you who are not familiar, Thandai is a traditional drink served mainly on the occasion of Holi. Holi without Thandai is incomplete. Gulkand Strawberry Milkshake
This cool and refreshing drink is made with milk and special spice-mix. It’s everyone favorite, but my kids are not a huge fan of Thandai. They don’t like the taste.
So, this year they are in for a delicious treat. I plan to surprise them with a rich and creamy Gulkand Strawberry Milkshake. This yummy milkshake flavored with rose petals has the right amount of thickness, their favorite flavor (strawberry) and will surely please their taste buds.
This pretty pink drink is made with minimal ingredients and comes together in just 5 minutes. It’s –
- perfectly sweet
- and indulgent!
In short, it’s a delectable treat perfect for all ages. Kids and adults alike can enjoy this drink together!
NOW ONTO THE RECIPE!
Start off by adding all the ingredients to a blender. Mix until smooth and well blended. For a smooth and silky taste, I have used milk along with half and half.
The sweetness comes in the form of honey. But feel free to substitute honey for condensed milk. Sieve the milkshake through a strainer and pour into glasses.
Finish the drink off with silvered nuts, dried rose petals and serve. It’s so good that everyone will come back for seconds. 😉

Gulkand Strawberry Milkshake
- 1 cup Frozen Strawberries
- 1 tablespoon Gulkand (Rose Petal Jam)
- 2 tablespoon Honey or any sweetener of your choice
- 1 teaspoon Strawberry extract
- 1 cup Cold Milk
- 1 cup Half and Half
- - - Assorted Silvered nuts
- Assemble ingredients. Fresh strawberries can be used as a substitute.
- Add gulkand, strawberries and milk to a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour in glasses.
- Garnish with dry nuts, dried rose petals and serve chilled.
