This recipe is pretty straightforward and uses no fancy equipment. Has no sugar and no un-pronounced ingredients. Just 4 basic ingredients that are nutrient rich and wholesome.
Combine your favorite fruit with milk to make a perfect morning drink. For this recipe I have used strawberries and banana. Feel free to experiment and add the fruit of your choice to bring in more flavor and color.
Adjust the consistency of this smoothie by adding more or less milk. For instance, if you prefer a thick spoon-able smoothie, add less milk but if you like it liquid-y add more milk. That goes for the sugar too. My strawberries were naturally sweet, so I have skipped sugar. But depending on how sweet the strawberries are, a tablespoon of sugar can be added.
Blend and finish the drink by adding a scoop of strawberry ice cream or vanilla ice cream on top. Sip away and indulge in this delicious smoothie!
