Question for a question
How will you feel if you were asked – Question for a question. One day when Akbar and Birbal were out strolling their royal gardens, Akbar asked Birbal, “Can you tell me how many bangles your wife wears?”
Birbal was stumped over this question and said, “No, your highness!”
“You cannot? “You see her hands every day while she serves you food. Yet you don’t know how many bangles she has on her hands? How is that possible?”, exclaimed Akbar.
“Let’s go down the garden, Your Majesty,” said Birbal, “and I’ll explain you.”
They went down the small staircase that led to a garden. Birbal turned towards the emperor and said, “Your Majesty, you go up and down this staircase every day. Can you tell me how many steps are there in that staircase?” Birbal just asked Emperor – Question for a question.
The emperor grinned sheepishly and quickly changed the subject as he got his answer.
